Since 1985, Brigitte NaHoN’s work has explored the notion of unstable stability, investigating the fragile equilibrium that emerges between opposing forces, materials, and states of being.

Working across sculpture, drawing, and installation, she creates situations in which tension, gravity, and interdependence become active components of the work. Through paradoxical encounters between weight and suspension, presence and absence, fragility and resistance, her practice reveals moments of balance that are never fixed, but constantly negotiated.

Using materials as diverse as water, glass, steel wire, artificial silk thread, Baccarat crystal, mirror-polished stainless steel, titanium, oil, and paper, NaHoN transforms physical relationships into perceptual experiences. 

The visible is held by the invisible, the fragile becomes structural, and instability itself becomes a condition of permanence.

Her works invite viewers to experience space not as a static environment, but as a field of subtle forces where perception, movement, and awareness continuously reshape one another.
